Just in time for Halloween the wacky inventor from Bristol, Charlie Francis showed the world this unusual ice cream for the first time. The founder of 'Lick Me I'm Delicious' has come up with a few weird inventions including the 'Soup Washing Machine', the 'Fire Extinguisher Ice Cream' and a number of ice cream contraptions. None of them however seem quite as weird as the glow in the dark ice cream.
Luminescent proteins extracted from jelly fish is the magic ingredient and although this may put some people off, Charlie Francis claims 'Is it safe to eat? Well I tried some and I'm not glowing anywhere, so we'll go with a yes for now.'
Charlie stated that he bought the luminescent protein from a scientist in china. After a few months of experimenting he come up with the first ever glow in the dark ice cream, perfect for Halloween!
It may not be the cheapest ice cream at £140 per scoop but here at Polaris we think it would definitely be worth a try!
