The UK marketing team consisted of 14 that represented different business units within the organization.
After the SEO Agency supported and managed the business through a Website Migrations project, we helped CACI assess their next SEO priority.
A need was identified to upskill team members on how to produce content with Best Practice SEO in mind.
Due to the scale of the business and the number of business units, it was not possible to train subject matter experts directly. Therefore, POLARIS worked with the management consultants to devise a training plan that shared knowledge and expertise with the central marketing team and provided supplementary tools that can be used internally going forward.
A custom training schedule was put together for 2 x 45 minute, introductory SEO training sessions to be held with the marketing team. This schedule comprised of an introduction to SEO, what our goals are specifically within the client’s business, and walking through a best practice approach to on page optimisation.
The primary goal of these sessions was to impart knowledge that was digestible and easily understood, without being overly technical or verbose.
To supplement the training material that the SEO trainer walked through, 2 complementary assets which were also created as a part of the solution.
The first was a custom framework for content writers to use to guide them when producing landing page content or insight blogs for the management consultant’s website. The second was a complimentary explainer video providing a demo of how to use the framework, for a landing page and for an insights page.

Two face-to-face introductory SEO training sessions were held at the Soho Hotel in London, attended by a 14 strong team and presented by Amo Sokhi.
The sessions were completed with engagement and enthusiasm from all team members, and the session scored 9.6/10 overall in our delegate survey.
