Hello, my name is Angus, I am excited to announce that I am the new Client Services Executive at POLARIS. I look forward to improving my account management & SEO skills, even more so to contributing to the POLARIS team.
My Background
My educational background has been in Marketing & Financial Crime, I gravitated towards the SEO industry after managing the digital marketing for 4 hotels throughout Australia. Exposure to the social media + website data instilled in me the knowledge of the work I wanted to pursue; data-driven with capacity for personal flair. The month-to-month performance is what invigorated me, yet I wished I was working in a more varied field, so, I set my sights on consultancy.
Case based work is my highest priority, I value the process of getting stuck in learning every angle, immersing yourself in the knowledge to see every angle and issue. SEO is an industry that is constantly evolving, intrinsically linked with technological developments, assuring that the skillset of myself and team will always be developing and challenged, which I value the most.
My Goals
I work towards becoming a pillar of the team here at POLARIS and being vital as the first point of contact to my clients; to do so I eagerly increase my knowledge on SEO tools & industry practices to diagnose & solve problems as they arise, to allow POLARIS & our clients operate unhindered and optimized.
My Interests Beyond Work
Never one to stay idle, outside of work I enjoy reading, swimming, attempting to and mostly failing to expand my cooking repertoire, never being one to shy away from watching my team at the pub but mostly hiking, wherein I am training this year to climb my 3rd World Peak. I’ve also spent a lot of time around horses.
