The Agency

POLARIS is a leading SEO agency specialising in SEO campaigns and consultancy. We partner with global B2B organisations that need a trusted, experienced partner to drive their SEO strategies forward. Clients include Sodexo, Thomson Reuters, and Mars.

The Role

You will collaborate with members of the team to devise content initiatives that can then be outreach to various media outlets online, for the purpose of promoting the agency and its clients. You’ll be assisting in the planning and production of PR worthy content, including blogs and videos, that will be written in order to build the agency and its client’s awareness, create PR opportunities and promote the campaigns.

You will have full autonomy over the outreach of content, and you will own a list of media contacts that you can nurture over time to develop rapport with for the purpose of ideation and successful placements.

You’ll be working directly with the agency MD, and using agency systems and processes, learning about the impact of Digital PR on SEO and how it can fuel an SEO strategy for many different businesses.

You’ll be producing assets for all digital channels (website, social media, email etc.) and creating editorial plans and content calendars as well as executing them. You will also be responsible for community management and interacting with relevant stakeholders across all our digital platforms.

You will be responsible for:

• Assisting the Targeting of business owners to turn into potential leads, through the use of email marketing, webinars, social paid advertising campaigns, and organic digital channels.
• Target marketing managers in London through outbound corporate communications strategy, and by increasing our SEO rankings for business-critical keywords such as SEO Agency, SEO Agency London, PPC Agency, PPC Agency London.
• Finding vertical, topic related websites that can feature content from our campaigns, referencing Polaris with a biography or backlink.
• Creating relevant event calendars for POLARIS and its clients.
• Identify speaker opportunities, both free and paid, that will help to expose Polaris to specific sector and audience targets.
• Supporting the placement of content published on relevant websites in order to increase the domain authority and trust flow of the Polaris website, through placement of content for backlinks.
• Supporting in the ideation and execution of events hosted by the agency.
• Assist with the PR of our client accounts, across B2B, Ecommerce, Telecoms and Finance.
• Creating and executing content calendars and editorial plans

Digital PR & Client Outreach

It is your role to create a media database of contacts segmented by sector, using the existing contacts Polaris has and also finding new ones to add as you progress.

You will be responsible for taking client content and finding digital pr opportunities that are:

• On topic
• Low spam score under 5 (moz)
• Good DA
• Good TF
• Successfully achieving placement each month for clients within your schedule.
• Carrying out competitor analysis using majestic & ahrefs to find new opportunities.
• Analysing websites for quality by DA, TF etc.
• Negotiate any link building costs down by starting at 50% of the price.
• Keeping all contact details private within Polaris and not sharing contact with clients.
• Calculating average costs per DA bracket so that sales can quote link building to clients.
