With our own headquarters in London, we’re constantly running into, and being impressed by, the diverse brands who are also based in the capital. From well-known names who have been operating in Carnaby or Savile Row for over a century, to up-and-coming outfits from Shoreditch offering high-quality products backed by a modern ethos, there are a number of London brands that we admire – and would love to work with.

We’ve made our own little wish-list of the brands we want to work with to improve their organic search presence. And, on the off chance any of these brands stumble across this and are seeking an SEO Agency in London to power their SEO, just know there would be nobody more passionate to work with.

Let’s take a look at the London brands we at POLARIS would love to work with.

Daunt Books

One common sighting across London is a Daunt Books tote slung over the shoulder. While these bags may be Daunt’s most well-known product, their independent chain of London bookshops are their most magical. For those who love the allure of gorgeously rustic bookstores stocked with colourful first-hand titles, Daunt is a heaven – especially their Marylebone High Street store, which was once an Edwardian bookstore.

Their stylish chain of eight bookshops, six of which are in London, has now expanded online with an eCommerce arm that sells fiction and non-fiction books.

To us, Daunt represents precisely what a good bookshop should be – independent, classy, full of good books and with aspirations to grow further. While their online store is operable, we see a huge opportunity for them to expand their online presence by capitalising on their brand name and popularity to grow their share of search. They tick all the boxes for a London brand we’d love to work with.

FARFETCH

An extremely popular and equally as successful eCommerce retailer, London-founded and based FARFETCH’s online marketplace for high-end fashion has gained reverence for their ability to bring small fashion boutiques together into a single online offering through technology. From Versace to Prada, their online store connects high-end brands with customers all over the world.

The creation of this innovative marketplace and their investment in technology is just one facet of the FARFETCH approach, with their brand and editorial strategies equally impressive.

Despite these impressive facets, FARFETCH’s traffic has remained stagnant over the most recent months, indicating that there could be room to expand their share of search. Achieving this gives us provides yet more motivation to work with FARFETCH.

Liberty London

Standing side-by-side with Selfridges as one of London’s best-known department stores, Liberty has been operating in the heart of London for more than a century and has established a brand that exudes as much class as their beautiful purpose-built store on Great Marlborough Street.

While Liberty is effectively faultless when it comes to brand image and a gorgeously constructed physical store, there is room for improvement when it comes to their online offering. The vast majority of their organic traffic comes through branded terms – with very little traffic from non-branded terms.

We’d love to work for Liberty, not just for the opportunity to collaborate with one of London’s most iconic brands, but to build out their search presence beyond just their brand.

Mindful Chef

From south-west London comes Mindful Chef, spritely challenger brand to the well-known meal delivery services like HelloFresh and Gousto.

What we love about Mindful Chef more than anything else is their corporate mission of delivering genuinely healthy, high-quality, sustainable meals to their customers and using their B-Corp business to do good. It shows, not just in their meal offerings and recipes, but in initiatives like ‘One Feeds Two’ that has donated over 19 million meals to children in poverty.

Helping them on their journey, in particular improving their search presence against key competitors who lack the ethical approach that Mindful Chef does, is exactly why we would love to work with them.

Kuki Candles

Inspired by Japanese wellness practices and traditions, Kuki Candles is a London-founded brand creating candles and aromatherapy products with an emphasis on natural scents and materials. Using only plant extracted ingredients and pure essential oils, Kuki’s ethos is to create products that are natural, clean, and gentle on bodies, minds and the environment. Plus, their candles smell simply divine.

We love Kuki’s ethos and scents, but that’s not the only reason we’d love to work with them. While they offer online sales, they have almost no organic presence outside their branded terms – and when their product is this good, that represents an unparalleled opportunity for expansion that we would love to get our teeth into.
