We began our approach with a thorough SEO audit of the new URL, aligning it with the latest google algorithms. Following the initial audit, our next step involved conducting a detailed report on the domain migration from an SEO perspective. The execution of the domain migration was achieved through a carefully crafted SEO plan, including essential elements such as Google redirects, notifications, and the utilisation of the change of address tool.
We strategically identified the crucial ‘sales’ pages, integrating tracking goals to recognise lead generation through SEO as a primary channel. Lastly, we devised and executed a 12-month SEO strategy to enhance the businesses exposure and driving leads for sustained growth.
We reviewed how SEO integrated within the overall marketing efforts conducted by BvD, and identified goals which would allow value to be attributed to SEO as the Source Channel or Influencer (with influencing channels being assessed further along the sales journey).
This data was internally tracked using the CRM system, enabling comprehensive reporting on individual channel activities and their overall contribution to the marketing strategy.
